Benjamin Baldridge has over 20 years experience teaching stringed musical instruments like electric, acoustic, and classical guitar. Ben graduated with distinction from the prestigious Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, NY, studying under esteemed guitarist Nicholas Goluses. Since 2001 Ben has inspired hundreds of students young and old to pursue their professional and casual interests in guitar at studios across the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Ben began teaching online lessons in April 2020 from his home studio.
Ben has a performing background that includes both black tie and flannel performances. He has since performed at numerous theaters including the Ames Center in Burnsville, MN, the Marion Ross Performing Arts Center in Albert Lea, MN, and the Le Musique/St. Michael Center in St. Michael, MN. Ben has routinely performed at many of the most recognized clubs in the Twin Cities. His guitar playing has filled the atmosphere of events since the late 1990’s, including at weddings and funerals.
In his free time, Ben enjoys writing songs, reading comics and music biographies, and revisiting classic films in science fiction, fantasy, drama and documentary.
